John Haynes Series Update & Checklist

Readers have been wanting more John Haynes, and he’s gonna featured in THREE Stories this year!

First, John will be featured in May’s upcoming Isis: EscapeFrom Transylvania! And this vampire story is action packed! Reading like a movie, Escape From Transylvania builds on the Vampire story arc from Bride ofDracula and Night of the Vampires, and it puts a fresh take on vampire lore! This is one YOU CANNOT MISS!  

And the first John Haynes solo story is coming in June!

John Haynes: A Conversation with Death is going to be the teaser story that sets up the John Haynes series. Designed to be like a #0 issue of a comic, it reintroduces readers to John Haynes dark world and establishes his character transformation arc for the first storyline.

And to get readers to give the John Haynes series a try, A Conversation With Death will be 99 cents for the summer on e-readers!  

In addition to Escape From Translyvania, and A Conversation With Death, John will also be appearing in E’steem: The Sands of Time. This Fantasy Flashback set in Ancient Egypt not only takes us back to E’steem’s past, but it also shows us part of John’s past in High school!

Right now I’m working on the next John Haynes story, Dark Succubus. And I’m hoping to have it finished by the end of the summer. John Haynes: E’steem: The Sands of Time Color Model

Good news! Thanks to Paypal donations from YouTube Viewers and Patreon supporters, E’steem: The Sands of Time is coming to paperback and e-reader!

With the first E’steem Fantasy flashback book headed on a fast track for publication, I had to do a color model for John Haynes. John’s look is taken from clothes I wore in the late 80s. The jean jacket, mock neck and military surplus BDU-style Cargo pants and white sneakers are what I used to wear to school back in the day.

Teen John’s colors are an inversion of the traditional John Haynes outfit colors. So instead of the green shirt and black jeans, he’s wearing green pants and a black shirt. I thought the color inversion would pop playing off E’steem’s white and gold Egyptian garb. With teen John I wanted to show that he was still trying to find his style and kind of foreshadow what was to come regarding who he would become in the future.

I’m hoping to get E’steem: The Sands Of Time out sooner rather than later, and readers are in for a TREAT! This one has action, adventure, and romance in Ancient Egypt! If you like movies with Disney Princesses, you’ll definitely love this one!

Isis: Escape From Transylvania Paperback Reveal

Just got the Isis: Escape From Transylvania Paperback in the mail yesterday and IT LOOKS AWESOME!

Bill Walko’s cover really pops with the gloss. With this cover I could easily see this book in the Scholastic Catalog kids get at schools. And after they read the story I could see them buying more books in the Isis series.

TITANS STARFIRE LOOKS LIKE A HOOKER…WTF?

I just saw a picture of Starfire on CW’s New Teen Titans show. And I haven’t seen anything that looked this bad since Halle Berry’s Catwoman Costume.

Damn. Just Damn.

What so sad about Teen Titans is Raven looks like Raven. Beast Boy looks like Beast Boy. Robin looks like Robin. But Starfire? In between that dollar store wig from the Halloween store and that 99-cent store dress, she looks like the hooker version Barney the Purple Dinosaur turning tricks on Times Square.

I don’t know who this is, but it’s NOT Starfire. Koriand’r is supposed to be Cute. Sexy. Fun and vivacious. Model GOREGOUS. The girl who can make a guy’s dick hard just by walking down the street.

When I look at this picture I don’t get an erection. All I want to do is vomit.

Seriously, what’s the budget for this Teen Titans show? Food Stamps? I’ve seen Cosplays that BLOW THE DOORS off this hot mess.

I don’t see anything resembling the character Marv Wolfman and George Perez created back in the 1980s. This actress looks like she has none of Kory’s sweetness, bubbliness, personality or heart. She doesn’t look anything like the girl who could make Dick Grayson fall in love with her.

Yeah, DC and WB want to add diversity to The Teen Titans by giving us a Black Starfire. But it’s clear they didn’t want to make her more attractive than the White women on the show. So they trotted out the fattest, darkest, ugliest woman they could find and found ways to make her look even more hideous. And then say this is a positive step in the name of diversity.

FUCK YOU WARNER BROTHERS. FUCK YOU.

This Black Starfire is an INSULT TO BLACK PEOPLE. A passive aggressive slap in the face to Black people by White Supremacists at WB. The very image of her isn’t true to the source material, it just breathes brand new life into old stereotypes about Black women. Instead of casting the sexiest Black woman you could find to play one of DC’s sexiest women, WB cast a mammysaurus. And the reason why the White Supremacists at DC and WB did this was to make a Black woman not appear to be sexually attractive to the audience.

 Because Heaven forbid an iconic character like Dick Grayson can’t be shown being attracted to a sexy Black woman. No, we can’t have the #3 Character at DC Comics getting a boner at the sight of a beautiful sexy Black woman.

Because in WB’s attempt to promote so-called Diversity they just practice old-fashioned racism. Just like Rose Tico in Star Wars, we have a character of color in a fantasy series. But the studio does everything to make her as unattractive as possible in comparison to her White counterparts.

What’s sad about this diversity hire is that it compromises the New Teen Titans story. Dick and Kory’s relationship is one of the essential parts of the New Teen Titans history. And there’s no way I can see Dick Grayson wanting to have a relationship with a hungry hungry hippo like this. The whole point of Dick and Kory’s relationship was that Kory appeared to be WAY out of Dick’s league. But in spite of their differences, they found love for each other And it was Kory’s love for Dick that helped him get through the tough times as he was transitioning from Batman’s sidekick to leading The Titans and becoming his own man, Nightwing.

If WB is making compromises with Starfire’s look, then it’s clear to me they’re gonna make compromises with their love story. And if they make a compromise with Dick and Kory’s story then I know I can’t expect much from this Teen Titans show. After seeing this Starfire, I’m seeing another disastrous DC Comics adaptation from Warner Brothers.  

John Diggle & Modern House Negroes

JOHN DIGGLE’S N***ER WAKE UP CALL

 On a recent episode of Arrow John Diggle got his Nigger wake up call.

After Diggle asked to take back the hood of Green Arrow, Oliver told him that the hood was a part of him and he couldn’t let him be The Green Arrow again. Because the Green Arrow allowed him to be the best version of himself.

But John Diggle couldn’t be the best version of himself as Green Arrow. He couldn’t be the equal of a White man like Oilver Queen.

Now after Oliver told him this, John was wondering what had happened to make him feel so angry. To think that something was wrong. And as he went to discuss this with his White wife, Shawn knew what was going wrong with John Diggle.

John Diggle just had a Nigger Moment.

And after having his Nigger Moment, he was realizing how little value he had to his Slave Master Oliver Queen.

Don’t you just love how Good White Liberal Oliver Queen has been shown for the Paternalistic RACIST and HYPOCRITE he truly is?

Earlier in the sixth season of Arrow, John Diggle was offered the hood of the Green Arrow by Oliver Queen. And being faithful butler to Oliver Queen for so many years, John Diggle thought he was going to finally be seen as the equal to Oliver. Be his own man. Be his own kind of hero. Lead Team Arrow.

That’s not something a Black man can do wearing a White man’s costume. Or on a Berlanti Productions show. Just as soon as John Diggle put on the costume, he wound up with an arm injury. And having to take drugs to deal with it. Then as he dealt with his injury, Oilver put the costume on and went on missions again. After Diggle got better, and Oliver continued to deal with his problems as Mayor of Star City and a father, Diggle thought he could go back to being Green Arrow. And as he was buckdancing and bojangling begging Boss Queen to put on his hand-me-down Green Arrow Costume again he got his NIGGER wake up call.

Now I’ve said that Diggle wasn’t qualified to be Green Arrow. And I stand by that. He doesn’t have the skills with arrows, nor does he have the motivation to be Green Arrow.

But I can understand his anger. He thought that having that mantel being passed on to him meant that he was going to be equal to Oliver. That he would be a leader and not a follower.

But a White man is NEVER going to let a Black man be his equal. In White Supremacist AmeriKKKa, The White man is Supreme. The Leader. The Boss. And With Oliver being the leader, John Diggle had to be put back in his place as Spartan the Butler.

Only John Diggle wasn’t having it this time.

John Diggle’s biggest mistake was believing that he could be a man on Oliver Queen’s terms. Believing that he could be a hero if a White man accepted him. Begging to put on a White man’s costume to be a hero on a team a White man made.

Not seeing how WEAK he was by being a hero on Oliver Queen’s terms. Diggle spent so many years being Oliver’s BOY he never became his own MAN. He gave his BEST to someone who didn’t APPRECIATE IT and NEVER would appreciate it. The best he could ever be on Team Arrow is Oliver’s butler, not a man on his level.

On that episode of Arrow, John Diggle just finally realized the emasculated position he was in. Diggle thought after years of being a faithful servant Oliver Queen would finally let him be the shot caller on Team Arrow. But a Black man can NEVER call the shots even if a White man gives him his position of power.

Because he never owned anything from day one. If a man isn’t putting money on the table for something he has no say on anything.

A Black man can’t be a hero to his community wearing a White man’s hand-me-down costume or fighting a White man’s mission. No, in order for a Black man to be a hero, he has to establish his own mission and set his own course. What makes a Black man a hero is him being the best version of himself for himself. Standing up for what he believes in and fighting for the cause he’s passionate about.

John Diggle got his Nigger wake up call. And I’m hoping many Blerds and Black comic fans understand the lesson being taught in this episode. Be the best version of a Black Man for YOU, not the attention and approval of a White person.
