A humerous slant on a serious subject. Your're talking sense, my good man, and cheating is not about good sense. Men and women cheat because they're afraid of being too close to one person without a spare if that one hurts them.

Some people intend to hurt you before you can hurt them. Lord, I guess there's a million reasons for a million people.

That notwithstanding, I'd like to make this required reading for every dating man or woman. Let's let the married ones in on this too, The same logic applies. The reasons you give for not cheating are funny-bone chuckles, but it's been a facet of our lives since time immmemorial. Please know that you have done us all a favor and for that, I thank you.

You're doing it up right, Shawn, and I wish you all success. Lay on your subject of why men don't need finance to get romance. This is one facet of our life that we need to dump. Women make about the same as men. Why in the world should men be expected to pay all the freight. Love and respect each other and let love be free and from the heart.

If you ca strike a blow for just this one thing, you will have done invaluble work and I, for one, commend you.

I'm afraid I'm still mulling this one over, Shawn, and will be for some time to come. From my list of friends, I don't any women in the past who demanded of men what you list here. Character and honor were always the chief desires of the women I know in men they desired.

So, while your list is admirable, it demands far more than anyone I know ever demanded of men. I would put the first demand of both men as women as being God-loving and full to the brim with respect for themseves and the world they live in, indeed the universe. All things to follow. Since material things are so will-o-the-wisp, i wouldn't put too much emphasis on them. They're nice, of course.

I'd be interested in seeing you write a blog on the comments you get on this blog. It should really be interesting.

I skimmed through this article to make sure that Donna was preferred over Cassie(that tells me whether it's worth reading or not)...and THEN I read the entire thing, lol. Great ideas. I've never been a big WW fan and I also think the "every Amazon is a warrior" thing is stupid and very typical of the white male mindset at DC comics(an associate of mine was a "friend" of a writer/artist at DC*who actually worked on WW* who told me some of the behind the scenes crap. I also had aspirations of writing comics but then I grew up. I would never work there or at Marvel.

This is a real goodie, Shawn. Your ideas are the best and it is sad that you cannot use this tremendous gift to entertain and enlighten those of us who would like to read about these characters.

I'm sure you've done all you can to contact those in the comic field about your vision. But, of course, if theirs is so limited and jaded, it stands to reson they won't appreciate yours, and moreover probably will be envious.

Keep prayer, Shawn, and thrusting your vision forward where someone at some point will have sense enough to take you up on it.

I wish you all the luck you could possibly need with this. You certainly set forth a master plan for wonderful comic books

Shawn, you've really gone into it in plain, unvarnished language no one can misunderstand. We both know this doesn't begin with those you label "Simps" and the women who choose to deal with them. It begins on much, much higher levels and societies at large are shot thru with it.

Actually, young girls should be warned about this kind of thing. Forewarned is forearmed and there's hardly any such thing anymore as starting too early.

Sorry Shawn, I know you're being dead serious, but I got my best belly laughs of the week from this. But this it is a hilarious subject, as well as very sad one.

Have we humans always let ourselves be led around by the nose or on leashes like poodles? If so, how have we survivied?

There is no more comedy or pathos to be added to this. you've done it all. It would be great if everyone who's fond of the low risers could walk along looking at themselves in a constant mirror, but even then if it's fashion, so many are going to follow. You migh try e-mailing this to all fashionistas and peacocks.

I read part 1 and 2. I agree. Saddly hollywood has changed him. I dont know much about Kardashian she seemed to me to appear out of no where. But if he still is a Christian he wouldnt cast her. From what I have seen and what you have written about her I know the money talks louder than God for him.

I did enjoy his movies for awhile but the stories are getting old. Hes hanging with people who proclaim to be Christian but are new age and illuminati (Kardashian is one maybe thats how she got the role), so I see the path he has taken.

When I first saw this heading, I did a doubletake, asking "What!" I started not to read, but I'm glad I did. From the heading, I felt it was a slam to men who sincerely were trying to help women who had taken the wrong path. howevever, your article is dead on target.

Nothing is more reprehensible than someone who under the guise of helping drives another hunan further down. I don't think their place in hell can be hot enough. The sad part about this is that it's a difficult thing to see, most often until it's way too late and the victim is victimized -- yet again.

And yes, you're right, these monsters do sometimes wind up dead; the pain was just too much for the tormented ones to bear. But all too often, they're seen as saviours and model citizens of the community.

So, you're doing a great service here, in your usual great style, but just maybe next time you should let us know exactly what you're trying to do before someone else misses out on this excellent blog.

This is a real goodie, Shawn. The trouble is the ones who most need it probably aren't going to pay the necessary attention to it. But here's hoping at least some will. Even that will help.

Your points are well delinated and I haven't seen them covered elsewhere. You've written a serious and profound study on a facet of society that has always existed. I really think such menn have an extreme self loathing and have no wish to change. Often, they basically hate, or on a milder note, dislike women.

Hopefully you'll do another blog on this. If the men you write about won't listen and change, at least women can be warned, and, if they're smart, take heed.

First thing, Shawn, you never give up. Neveer. Never. I happen to know that you're a man of God, and so He has your back. Many people have suffered what you're going through and come out ahead. I want to suggest that you focus primarily on your marvelous writing talents at least as much as on your job search. After all, this is where your God-given talents lie so beautifully.

I wish you well, Shawn, because I know your talents. The haters will always be with us. We have to remember that something made them that way. Bear with them, for their way is harder than any of us want to believe.

You have so much to sustain you. A loving family, a major talent for writing, the ability to make friends, and what I should have put first: a strong belief in God.

Thank you for this post! I too have felt that Mr. Zimmerman is a sociopath. When he worked as security at a party GZ attacked a woman. He was also charged with beating his girlfriend.

If someone were to do some serious digging I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Mr. Zimmerman had raped someone. If he hadn't been arrested he probably would go on to harm more people.

you nailed him...I feel the same way. Sociopaths are generally so believable to most people and they are charming and smart. That's why they get away with murder. I am a white female over 50 and thought this from the start. I think he had a scenerio planned out way back and then it happened for him...down to time, the words on the phone...a kid in a hoodie...there is no way that I believe a kid walking alone, in the rain after dark would be looking for a chance to break in or for that matter trouble. I also heard the comment that his mother made about it being an accident...she meant an accidental meeting...but it was the meetig that GZ wanted...it he gets away with this he will have to leave the country and he will kill again.....keep writing..
