I wrote this story to follow up on points I made about Black beauty and Black women's self-Esteem I made in Isis: The Beauty Myth and Isis: Wrath of the Cybergoddess and talk about the world of black fashion and beauty I saw growing up with things like the Ebony Fashion Fair. I wanted to pay tribute to all those sistas who represented Black beauty in those fashion shows that showcased Black fashion and Black beauty with this story. And I'm hoping that Black girls and Black women who read this story will see how Black is beautiful and how we define beauty with our own standard. I'm hoping everyone picks up this fashion packed-action packed Isis series adventure and enjoys this fabulously fun story!
