Inaugural Blog

Hello, everyone, My name is Shawn James and I'm a 33 year old unemployed struggling African American fiction writer and artist. I decided to start this blog so I could have a place to post up stuff about the stories and books I write, and to have a place to post some of my art. I'll also post:

• Tips for writers on Query letters, story ideas and the like.
  
• Write about my struggles as an African-American male in New York working on my dream to be a writer while searching for a decent paying job.
  
• Promote my self-published novel Isis
• Discuss issues in the African-American Community.
• Discuss books I'm writing and submitting to publishers and agents.
